About WINDWIL

Manifesto

I always had a dream to make the world a better place to live. I don't know exactly how to do it, but I think more ideas would help.

After seen past technological revolutions changing the way we live and work, and being an engineer myself, I sort of think that technology should play a big part.

So I'm throwing ideas out, mostly in technology, internet, software and new business models, hoping that they get picked up by smart and diligent entrepreneurs, who would improve upon them and make them work.

Ideas are cheap

To truly make things happen, we need entrepreneurs to startup businesses around the ideas. Many people say that ideas are cheap, including some influential people, and I tend to agree.

So please take the ideas and run. Go startup something and make people's lives better.

But remember to make good

I try to remind myself that there will be generations after us, who will be deeply affected by what we do today as the citizen of the global village. This reminds me to think about cool ways to preserve the environment, reduce energy consumption, recycle wastes, cure diseases, and many other things.

I haven't read the whole book of Wealth Nation, but I somewhat think there is truth in what Adam Smith proposed. There is magic in the free-market that the aggregate of pursuit of individual happiness can lead to goodness of the whole society.

In short, a business can both make big profit, and long-lasting positive impact to the society.

What goes from here

After several years of corporate life, I am now working on my own startup project, trying to revolutionize the way education is done. I would love to hear your feedbacks, and get to know like-minded entrepreneurs. So please don't hesitate to write me a line.
Or you may choose to contact me directly here, or subscribe to my RSS feed here to keep informed of new ideas coming out.

Finally, let's go make the world a better place one idea at a time.
