amazon mechanical turk is live, a remake of the old concept, enabling peer-to-peer Q and A! People, or machines, submit small tasks, and someone on the other corner of the internet solves it and gets paid for it. The innovative part is the machine-to-human request, where a human helps out the machine computing the solution through web API's.
Distributed thinking! A global network of intelligence where machines and humans are completely intertwined! Would be very interesting to see how this network evolves.
